Regina returns from vacation to find her apartment stripped bare, her bank account drained, and her husband Charlie dead. Three dangerous men are convinced she knows where six million dollars are hidden. A US official played by Tim Robbins seems more interested in the money than the murder. The only person offering real help is a charming stranger named Joshua Peters — though in a story where everybody has a secret, charm is the cheapest currency in town.
