Something Wild

Something Wild (1986) is a sharp-edged comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Jonathan Demme with Melanie Griffith and Jeff Daniels at the center. It starts with a skipped lunch bill — and spirals from there into something far stranger.

Charles Driggs is a buttoned-up corporate VP who gets pulled into the orbit of Lulu, a reckless free spirit in a black wig who drags him to Pennsylvania, introduces him as her husband and drops him into a high-school reunion he never signed up for. What plays as a screwball road trip shifts gears fast when Ray — Lulu's ex-husband, fresh out of prison, played by Ray Liotta — arrives and turns the weekend genuinely dangerous.
