Synopsis

This Robin Hood is a quick, grinning fox, with the loyal Little John reimagined as a big, easygoing bear. King Richard is away on the Crusades, so the cowardly Prince John and his hissing adviser Sir Hiss have grabbed the throne. They squeeze Nottingham dry with taxes while the sheriff does their dirty work. Robin and his band take the loot back and hand it to the poor. He is also dying to see the lovely vixen Maid Marian — and he will gladly walk straight into a rigged archery tournament for one glimpse of her. Brian Bedford, Phil Harris and Peter Ustinov as the sulky prince lead the voice cast.
