The Black Sea (2020) is a Russian wartime thriller series you can watch online on iFILM. Director Sergei Shcherbin sets the story in the summer of 1944: the Soviet Black Sea Fleet is preparing for the Crimean Offensive, while a German underwater sabotage unit is already moving through the harbours — their mission is to sink the fleet's main warships before the operation begins.

Naval officer Saburov, played by Pavel Trubiner, arrives in Novorossiysk with a narrow brief: locate the German operative codenamed Kunts and destroy the covert school training underwater commandos. The enemy moves unseen, the window is closing, and every wrong step costs a ship. Ekaterina Vilkova and Yuri Tsurilo play the counterintelligence officers working alongside him.
