About

Synopsis

F.I.S.T. (1978) is a crime drama directed by Norman Jewison — watch it online on iFILM. Sylvester Stallone plays Johnny Kovak, a Cleveland warehouse worker who finds his voice in the depths of the Great Depression and channels it into the labor movement.

Kovak rises through the ranks of a truckers' union from street-level organizer to its most powerful national figure. Rod Steiger plays Senator Madison, who smells corruption, and Peter Boyle is Johnny's old ally. The script, co-written by Joe Eszterhas and loosely drawn from the life of Jimmy Hoffa, traces the precise point where conviction tips into ruthlessness — and where a movement built on justice starts cutting deals with the mob.

At 145 minutes, the film moves at a deliberate pace that suits its subject: the slow moral erosion of a man who once had nothing to lose. Stream F.I.S.T. (1978) in full online on iFILM.
