Synopsis
The Audition (2015) is a comedy short directed by Martin Scorsese — watch online on iFILM. Sixteen minutes. Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Brad Pitt in the same room, all playing versions of themselves. The premise is the punchline.
Scorsese is casting his next film and brings in his two most celebrated collaborators to audition for the lead. De Niro and DiCaprio both want the part badly. Neither is above a little sabotage. Cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto and Scorsese himself appear on screen; the film was shot in Singapore for Marina Bay Sands and is widely regarded as the most star-studded branded short ever made.
