Priscilla

Priscilla (2023) is Sofia Coppola's biographical drama, available to watch online on iFILM. It tells the story of Priscilla Beaulieu, the woman who married the world's most famous singer, entirely from her point of view.

West Germany, late 1959. At a party for American servicemen, a fourteen-year-old officer's daughter meets Elvis Presley, already a rock-and-roll phenomenon. Offstage he is nothing like the legend: shy, lonely, drawn to her. What follows is an invitation to Graceland, the gilded cage of his mansion, long stretches of waiting by the phone, and rare stolen evenings while the star keeps her hidden from the public eye. Cailee Spaeny carries the character from schoolgirl to a woman who learns the true cost of someone else's fame. Jacob Elordi plays Elvis.
