Ghosts of the Abyss

Ghosts of the Abyss (2003) is a documentary you can watch online on iFILM — James Cameron's return dive to the actual wreck of the Titanic, four kilometres below the North Atlantic. Joined by actor Bill Paxton and a crew of marine historians and oceanographers, Cameron piloted remote-operated submersibles into the ship itself: grand staircase, first-class cabins, scattered personal effects.

The footage was captured with custom stereoscopic cameras and released in 3D IMAX before the format went mainstream.
