Synopsis
"Midnight Diner 2" (続・深夜食堂, 2016) is a Japanese drama-comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Joji Matsuoka returns to the counter of Tokyo's most intimate late-night spot, where the laconic Master — played by Kaoru Kobayashi — serves whatever a customer asks for, as long as he has the ingredients.
Three new regulars bring their lives to the stool this time around: a woman haunted by an overzealous fan from a funeral, an older man who fell for a telephone scam, and a noodle deliveryman tangled up in romance.
