The Vexxer

The Vexxer (Neues vom Wixxer, 2007) is a German crime comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Cyrill Boss and Philipp Stennert, it follows Scotland Yard inspectors Very Macho and Very Much as they chase a serial killer bold enough to plant tombstones — with the detectives' own names on them — and give his future victims exactly twenty-four hours to live.

A sequel to the 2004 German cult hit Der Wixxer, the film plays the murder mystery format entirely for laughs. Oliver Kalkofe, Bastian Pastewka and Christoph Maria Herbst lead a cast of familiar German comedians sending up every British detective cliché they can find. The humour runs on absurdist setups and affectionate mockery of the genre rather than any real darkness.
