Synopsis
School for Scoundrels (2006) is an American comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Todd Phillips — who later made The Hangover — the film drops Jon Heder as Roger, a hopelessly unassertive New York parking inspector who signs up for a secret self-confidence course run by the slick and completely unethical Dr. P, played by Billy Bob Thornton.
The course actually works. Roger grows a spine, asks his neighbor Amanda out, and things start to click. Then Dr. P decides he wants Amanda too — and suddenly the student and teacher are running the same playbook against each other. Their escalating rivalry uses every dirty trick covered in the curriculum. Ben Stiller shows up in a memorable supporting turn, while Sarah Silverman and Michael Clarke Duncan operate on the fringes and keep the chaos unpredictable.
