The Chronicles of Riddick

The hiding ends fast. A zealot army called the Necromongers, led by the Lord Marshal, sweeps from world to world converting populations by force. Riddick lands on the planet Helion, then in a buried prison where the rock melts at noon and freezes solid by night. There he finds Kyra, a young woman from his past he thought long dead. Getting them both out means storming the Necromonger flagship and facing the Marshal head-on.

A sequel to Twohy's Pitch Black, the movie trades a tight survival thriller for full space opera, complete with Judi Dench as an ethereal Air Elemental, Karl Urban scheming at court, and Thandie Newton playing both sides.
