For All Mankind (Seasons 1–5)
The fight for freedom lies beyond the stars.
Synopsis
For All Mankind (2019) is an alternate-history sci-fi drama from Apple TV+ you can watch online on iFILM. Creator Ronald D. Moore flips the Space Race: on June 26, 1969, a Soviet cosmonaut plants his flag on the Moon first, and NASA is left to rebuild its program under the weight of humiliation.
Each season jumps a decade — the '70s, '80s, '90s and beyond — tracking astronauts, engineers and private space entrepreneurs as they race toward the Moon, then Mars and further still. Toby Kebbell plays Miles Dale, a blue-collar worker on a lunar base who gets dragged into an international power struggle. Mireille Enos, Edi Gathegi and Costa Ronin round out an ensemble where none of the competing nations looks entirely right. The show keeps raising the stakes as the decades stack up.
Five seasons and 50 episodes in, the series is still running. Moore already reinvented television sci-fi with Battlestar Galactica; here he takes the Cold War into orbit and turns it into a story about what ambition costs. Stream all seasons of For All Mankind online on iFILM.
