Synopsis
Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away (2012) is a fantasy spectacle film — watch online on iFILM. Director Andrew Adamson (Shrek, The Chronicles of Narnia) built a loose love story around a girl who reaches for an aerialist at a fairground show. They both fall in. What's down there is a shifting dreamscape stitched together from five of Cirque du Soleil's touring productions: Zed, Viva Elvis, Kò, Mystère, and Kà.
Erica Linz and Igor Zaripov wander through each world separately, looking for a way back to each other. The narrative is thin by design — this is a film that runs on sensation. Aerial silks, contortion, acrobatics over water, synchronized movement at impossible heights. Adamson shoots the performers as if the laws of gravity are a suggestion, not a rule.
