Locked

Locked (2025) is a single-location thriller from director David Yarovesky, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Small-time thief Eddie breaks into a high-end SUV and walks straight into a trap: the doors lock, the glass won't shatter, the engine dies. The car becomes a cage.

Bill Skarsgård plays Eddie, suddenly a pawn in someone else's game. A voice comes through the speakers — William, the vehicle's owner, played by Anthony Hopkins as a self-appointed judge out to punish the thief on his own terms. He controls the cabin from afar: heat, cold, electricity, all at the flip of a switch. Eddie claws across the seats hunting for a way out, trying to outthink a man who seems to have planned every move. The cat-and-mouse standoff plays out in the heart of nighttime Los Angeles.

Almost the entire film rests on two actors and one car interior, a setup where the tension builds from silence and a disembodied voice rather than chases.
