Synopsis
Whispering Corridors 6: The Humming (2021) is a Korean horror-mystery you can watch online on iFILM. Eun-hee returns as vice-principal to the high school she once attended — except her own school years have been wiped clean from memory.
The moment she walks the old corridors, hallucinations start closing in. Meanwhile a student named Ha-young keeps hearing a strange sound rising from a derelict bathroom nobody uses anymore. The further the two of them dig, the clearer it gets: the building remembers what people worked hard to bury. Fragments of Eun-hee's past drift back to her, and some doors were better left shut.
This is the sixth entry in the long-running Whispering Corridors series, which Korea has revived since the late nineties with a fresh all-girls-school story each time. Director Lee Mi-young leans on oppressive quiet and unshakable guilt rather than cheap jump scares. Slow, harsh and genuinely unsettling.
