Leitch came up as a stuntman, and it shows: the now-famous stairwell fight plays out in one brutal, unbroken take that runs close to ten minutes. The film adapts the graphic novel The Coldest City, scores its violence to 1980s synth-pop and new wave, and rounds out the cast with John Goodman, Toby Jones and Sofia Boutella.
