About

Synopsis

Point Blank (1967) — watch online the crime thriller directed by John Boorman and starring Lee Marvin as Walker, a man shot and left for dead in Alcatraz by his own partner. His partner took the money. Took his wife too. Walker wants $93,000 back and will go through every layer of a criminal syndicate called The Organization to get it.

The plot is almost beside the point. Boorman cuts the film in fragments — flash-forwards, memory splices, sound that bleeds between scenes — and turned a MGM studio production into something closer to a European art film. Angie Dickinson plays the sister of Walker's ex, the only person he keeps near him, though even she can't fully read what he is anymore. Carroll O'Connor and Keenan Wynn fill out the syndicate side. A lean 92 minutes of 1960s neo-noir that still feels experimental today. Stream Point Blank online on iFILM.
