Synopsis
Horse Julius and Big Horse Racing (2020) is a Russian animated comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Julius, the fast-talking horse from the Three Bogatyrs universe, has finally fallen in love — and he means it this time.
His heart belongs to Star of the East, a royal mare and daughter of Sultan Rashid. The catch: only someone of royal blood may court a horse of royal blood. When the Prince of Kiev flat-out refuses to help, Julius simply kidnaps him and drags him east to do the matchmaking anyway. The bogatyrs have their own errand in those lands, so everyone ends up at the big races, where the winner takes all.
Directed by Konstantin Feoktistov and Darina Shmidt, the film keeps the franchise's easy family humor — gags for the kids, sly nods for the grown-ups.
