Simone walks away from a car crash without a scratch. The jolt reshapes everything she thought she wanted. She asks her closest friend Philippe to father her child — and Philippe agrees, on one condition: the conception has to happen somewhere stripped of everything ordinary, out in a desert. They drive to Salt Lake City together. What starts as a quirky pact slowly exposes the unspoken feeling running between them. Pascale Bussières and Alexis Martin carry the film almost wordlessly; the silences do the heavy lifting.
