He is afraid. He is totally alone. He is 3,000,000 light years from home.
Synopsis
E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) is Steven Spielberg's family science-fiction film you can watch online on iFILM. A visiting spacecraft leaves in a hurry and strands one of its own in a quiet California suburb.
Ten-year-old Elliott (Henry Thomas) finds the small creature and hides him in his bedroom, the biggest secret of his young life. With his older brother and little sister Gertie (Drew Barrymore), the kids feed their guest candy, teach him words, and realize one thing matters most: he needs to get home. A strange link grows between the boy and the alien — they feel what the other feels, even apart. Outside, government men are closing in on the house.
Spielberg's film became the top-grossing movie of its decade and won four Academy Awards, including one for John Williams, whose flying-bicycle theme is recognizable from its first notes. Shot largely from a child's eye level, it sees the world the way a kid does, and that is where its power comes from. Stream E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) online on iFILM.
