Synopsis
The Haunted Mansion (2003) is a family comedy starring Eddie Murphy that you can watch online on iFILM. Workaholic real estate agent Jim Evers drags his wife and kids to a gloomy estate to close a sale, only for a freak thunderstorm to trap them there overnight.
The owner, brooding eccentric Edward Gracey (Terence Stamp), and his silent butler behave oddly, and the corridors echo with sounds that shouldn't be there. Soon the truth surfaces: 999 ghosts share the house, and they have no interest in noisy living visitors. What follows is a battle of nerves over an old mansion — and the spirits hold the edge, since they have no nerves left to fray.
Director Rob Minkoff, who co-helmed The Lion King, builds the film around Disneyland's beloved ride. Jennifer Tilly turns up as a fortune teller trapped inside a crystal ball, with Wallace Shawn rounding out the cast. A breezy 88-minute spook for the whole family.
