Minions

Minions (2015) is a feature-length animated comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The film is a prequel to Despicable Me, set long before Gru ever showed up. Directors Kyle Balda and Pierre Coffin rewind the clock to where these little yellow creatures began.

For millions of years the Minions have served one terrible master after another — dinosaurs, pharaohs, Napoleon — and bungled every job, usually wiping out the boss by accident. Stuck in an Arctic cave with no villain to follow, the tribe loses its spark. So three of them set out: sensible Kevin, lanky rebel Stuart, and wide-eyed little Bob. Their road trip lands them at a super-villain convention, where Scarlet Overkill, the world's first female criminal mastermind (voiced by Sandra Bullock), hires the trio to help her and her inventor husband Herb steal the crown jewels of England.

The voice cast piles on the talent: Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney. Ninety minutes of slapstick chases, 1960s pop tunes and dialogue in pure gibberish. A family comedy that will leave you humming "banana" for days. Stream Minions (2015) online on iFILM.
