Synopsis
The Lego Movie (2014) is an animated adventure comedy from directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller that you can watch online on iFILM. A whole universe built out of bricks, and the job of saving it lands on the most ordinary little figure of all.
Emmet (voiced by Chris Pratt) is a construction worker who follows the instructions, just like everyone else. Then he's mistaken for the Special, the one prophesied to stop Lord Business (Will Ferrell) from gluing the world permanently in place. Suddenly the nobody is on the run with the rebel Wyldstyle, the rambling wizard Vitruvius (Morgan Freeman) and a Batman (Will Arnett) who can't stop admiring himself. Liam Neeson, Nick Offerman and Channing Tatum round out the voice cast.
Lord and Miller turned a toy commercial into sharp satire about conformity and imagination, where almost everything on screen could be built from real pieces and the song Everything Is Awesome refuses to leave your head.
