Kiss the Girls

Kiss the Girls (1997) is Gary Fleder's crime thriller, available to watch online on iFILM. Morgan Freeman plays forensic psychologist and detective Alex Cross in his first trip to the screen.

Across North Carolina, young, brilliant, headstrong women keep disappearing. The man taking them calls himself Casanova and keeps his captives hidden away like a collection. Only one breaks free: physician Kate McTiernan (Ashley Judd), who wakes in the woods with no memory of the route out. Cross arrives hunting for his missing niece and teams up with Kate, the lone survivor who got close enough to the killer to live. The deeper the two dig, the more it looks as if Casanova isn't acting alone.

The film draws on James Patterson's bestseller, the second Cross novel and the first to reach cinemas; four years later Freeman returned to the part in Along Came a Spider.
