Synopsis
The Crash (2026) is a British crime documentary from RAW you can watch online on iFILM. Director Gareth Johnson examines a case that gripped Ohio and went national: in the summer of 2022, nineteen-year-old Mackenzie Shirilla drove a car into a wall at high speed. Her boyfriend Dominic Russo and his friend Davion Flanagan were killed on impact.
State investigators pulled the vehicle's data, combed through messages and spoke to everyone in the circle around Mackenzie. Their conclusion — this was no accident. She was charged with murder. The film runs 95 minutes and gives time to both sides of a grief-filled story: the Russo and Flanagan families, Ohio State Highway Patrol officers on the scene, and the legal team that argued intent.
