Shadyside is paying off an old curse again. The Berman sisters — rebellious Ziggy (Sadie Sink) and rule-following Cindy (Emily Rudd) — sit on opposite sides of the feud between poor Shadyside kids and their rich Sunnyvale rivals. When a camp counselor picks up an axe and starts hunting, the teens have to drop the grudge and trace the killing back to the witch Sarah Fier. Gillian Jacobs and Kiana Madeira round out the camp.

Janiak shot the entire trilogy back-to-back as one connected experiment, nodding hard to Friday the 13th and late-seventies slashers — hence the grainy film stock and a soundtrack pulled straight from the era.
