Synopsis

Sixteen-year-old Jacob (Asa Butterfield) grew up on his grandfather's tales about a home for unusual kids on a remote island. He figured they were bedtime stories. Then his grandfather dies, a strange letter sends him to the coast of Wales, and he steps into a house frozen in a single 1943 day. The children are real: a girl lighter than air, an invisible boy, a fire-handed teen. Their guardian, Miss Peregrine (Eva Green), bends time itself. Hunting them all is Mr. Barron (Samuel L. Jackson) and his monsters.
Burton surrounds the leads with Judi Dench, Rupert Everett and Terence Stamp, shooting the whole thing in his trademark gothic storybook style.
