Synopsis
The Resurrection of Jake The Snake (2015) is a documentary you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Steve Yu. It follows Jake "The Snake" Roberts — one of the most distinctive personalities of 1980s WWF — through a long attempt to get sober and reclaim his life and the family that had given up on him.
Diamond Dallas Page, a former fellow wrestler, is the engine behind the effort. He believes Jake can still turn it around. The film rolls as that belief is put to the test repeatedly. Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Scott Hall and others who knew Roberts at his peak sit for interviews that fill in what happened along the way — none of it sanitized.
