Monster

Monster (몬스터, 2014) is a South Korean thriller-drama directed by Hwang In-ho — watch it online on iFILM with Kim Go-eun and Lee Min-ki in the lead roles.

Bok-soon runs a street stall and has a temper that keeps most people at a safe distance. When a serial killer named Tae-soo murders her younger sister, she goes after him — no allies, no strategy, just cold fury driving her forward. But the chase shifts in ways neither of them expects, and the line between predator and prey quietly dissolves.

Kim Go-eun plays the role without softening anything: Bok-soon is not a grieving victim waiting to be saved, she's a force of nature that the film barely manages to contain.
