The Jackal

The FBI catches a fragment of the plot and realizes the clock is almost out. Deputy Director Carter Preston (Sidney Poitier) makes a desperate bet: he springs jailed IRA gunman Declan Mulqueen (Richard Gere) from prison. Mulqueen once crossed paths with the Jackal and is the only man alive who can recognize his face. Bruce Willis plays the assassin cold and unshowy, swapping faces, passports, weapons and accents without leaving a trace. A Russian officer joins the manhunt across the country. The cast also features Diane Venora and a young J.K. Simmons.
