All the Money in the World

All the Money in the World (2017) is Ridley Scott's crime drama, free to watch online on iFILM. It reconstructs a real abduction: in 1973 a gang in Rome seizes the sixteen-year-old grandson of the richest man alive and demands a fortune for his return.

Oil tycoon J. Paul Getty (Christopher Plummer) controls more wealth than most nations, yet flatly refuses to pay a cent. That leaves the boy's mother, Gail (Michelle Williams), almost alone against her own father-in-law and the kidnappers. Her one ally is Fletcher Chace (Mark Wahlberg), a former CIA operative Getty hires to settle the matter cheaply.

Scott famously rebuilt the film weeks before release, reshooting every Getty scene with Plummer in a matter of days, a feat that earned the actor an Oscar nomination.
