Synopsis
Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (2010) is a DC animated action film you can watch online on iFILM. A chunk of kryptonite crashes into Gotham Bay, and with it comes a girl of superhuman strength who bears an unmistakable resemblance to Superman.
The stranger turns out to be Kara, Clark's cousin from Krypton. Superman wants to teach her an ordinary life, Batman does not trust her, and Wonder Woman hauls her off to train among the Amazons. But Darkseid, the tyrant of Apokolips, has already noticed the newcomer and wants a Kryptonian for his army. Getting Kara back means taking the fight to enemy soil.
Directed by Lauren Montgomery as a follow-up to Public Enemies, the film brings back Tim Daly and Kevin Conroy as Superman and Batman, with Summer Glau voicing Supergirl. Seventy-nine minutes of brutal fights, Michael Turner's artwork as its visual base, and a rare focus on what it feels like to become a weapon overnight.
