Synopsis
Green Lantern: First Flight (2009) is a DC Universe animated action film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Lauren Montgomery packed 75 minutes with interstellar combat and a story that doesn't soften its edges for younger crowds. Christopher Meloni voices Hal Jordan, with Victor Garber, Michael Madsen and Tricia Helfer rounding out the cast.
Test pilot Hal Jordan is hand-picked by a dying alien — no application, no interview. The ring chooses him, and the Guardians of the Universe are not thrilled. They assign seasoned officer Sinestro to babysit the rookie. Sinestro has other plans. He's spent years building leverage over the Corps and now sees his moment. Hal has to figure out who's really running the galaxy before Sinestro rewrites the rules entirely.
