Captain Artemis (Milla Jovovich) is leading a military unit across the desert when a sandstorm pulls her team through a portal. The one person who can kill these things and read the rules of this place is a silent local Hunter, played by Tony Jaa. They clash first, then learn that survival means fighting side by side. Ron Perlman turns up in a small role.
