Synopsis
The Outfit (2022) is a crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. It marks the directorial debut of Graham Moore, who won an Oscar writing The Imitation Game. The entire film plays out inside a single tailor shop in 1956 Chicago, where Oscar winner Mark Rylance plays Leonard Burling — a Savile Row–trained cutter who left London after a personal loss and now makes suits for the only clientele in his rough neighborhood who can afford his rates: a mob family.
One night Richie Boyle (Dylan O'Brien) stumbles in with a gunshot wound and a recording that every faction in the city wants. His partner Mable (Zoey Deutch) is caught in the middle. His father Roy (Simon Russell Beale), the crime boss, arrives soon after with calm questions and cold eyes. Leonard keeps cutting fabric, threading needles, and saying very little. That turns out to be deliberate.
