Jesse Custer is a hard-drinking small-town pastor who long ago lost his faith. Then a creature called Genesis, the offspring of an angel and a demon, takes root inside him. Its power lets him command anyone with a single word. Jesse decides to use it to track down God himself and make the creator answer for walking out on the world. He doesn't travel alone. His ex Tulip is a fast-talking Texan with a gun and a grudge, while Cassidy is an Irish vampire who drinks anything that burns. Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga and Joseph Gilgan carry the chaos.
