The Passage (Season 1)

Project Noah recruits death-row inmates as test subjects for a virus extracted from South American bats. The pathogen eliminates tumors, but the trade-off is turning carriers into telepathic, highly infectious vampires. FBI agent Brad Wolgast (Gosselaar) is ordered to deliver orphan Amy Bellafonte (Sidney) to the facility as the next candidate. He can't do it. Something about Amy is different from every other subject — and that difference may be the only thing standing between the program and a full outbreak.
