Love and Monsters

Love and Monsters (2020) is a creature-feature adventure with a comic streak you can watch online on iFILM. Seven years after giant beasts overran the planet, Joel makes a reckless trek across hostile country to reach the girl he hasn't seen since it all fell apart.

Joel (Dylan O'Brien) survived the so-called Monsterpocalypse hiding in an underground colony, though he's the first to admit he's hopeless in a fight. Then a radio call connects him with Aimee (Jessica Henwick), his high-school sweetheart, living about sixty miles away across open ground ruled by mutated frogs, ants and slugs the size of a bus. He sets out almost alone, picking up a clever stray dog named Boy and a grizzled survivor traveling with a tough young kid (Michael Rooker and Ariana Greenblatt), who drill some sense into him.
