Synopsis
The Croods (2013) is a DreamWorks animated adventure you can watch online on iFILM, a family comedy about the world's first prehistoric road trip.
Grug rules his cave clan by one law: anything new will get you killed, so stay inside where it's safe. His teenage daughter Eep refuses to believe that. She wants out, toward the light at the top of the cliffs. Then an earthquake flattens their home and hiding is no longer an option. The family has to cross a strange, shifting landscape packed with bizarre creatures and collapsing ground. Along the way they meet Guy, a quick-thinking nomad who can make fire and rig traps. His clever ideas drive stubborn Grug up the wall, yet they may be the only thing keeping the Croods alive.
Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds lead the voice cast. Directors Kirk DeMicco and Chris Sanders, co-creator of Lilo & Stitch, build the story around fear of change and a father learning to let his daughter grow up.
