Over the Hedge

Over the Hedge (2006) is a DreamWorks animated comedy you can watch online on iFILM. A family film about woodland critters who wake up to find a suburb where their forest used to be.

Vern the turtle comes out of hibernation and barely recognizes home: a tall green hedge now splits the woods from rows of identical houses, manicured lawns and overflowing trash cans. Enter RJ, a fast-talking raccoon with a debt to pay off. He convinces the animals that the easy life is just past the hedge, where humans toss out cookies, chips and soda by the bagful. Vern smells trouble. The rest have already tasted junk food, and caution loses to temptation.

Bruce Willis voices RJ and Garry Shandling plays Vern, backed by Steve Carell, Wanda Sykes, William Shatner and Nick Nolte. Directors Tim Johnson and Karey Kirkpatrick adapted the comic strip by Michael Fry and T. Lewis.
