Roald Dahl's The Witches (2020) is a dark family fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. A newly orphaned boy moves in with his grandmother in rural Alabama, where the danger turns out to be anything but a fairy tale.

Grandma (Octavia Spencer) knows what grown-ups refuse to believe: witches live among us, posing as polite ladies in gloves, and they loathe children. To keep the boy safe she takes him to a grand seaside hotel. Bad timing. Every witch in the country has gathered there for a secret convention, led by the Grand High Witch herself. Anne Hathaway plays her with a clipped accent, monstrous grins and a real appetite for kids, gleefully over the top and genuinely creepy.

Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump) directed this take on Roald Dahl's novella, with Guillermo del Toro among the writers.
