The Legend of Tarzan

The Legend of Tarzan (2016) is David Yates's adventure action film you can watch online on iFILM. The man raised by apes traded the jungle for a London estate years ago and now answers to Lord John Greystoke. His past, however, refuses to let go.

The British crown invites Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgard) back to the Congo as an honored guest. Behind the invitation sits Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz), a scheming envoy of the Belgian king with his own designs on the region's diamonds and forced labor. With his wife Jane (Margot Robbie) and the American George Washington Williams (Samuel L. Jackson) at his side, Tarzan steps back into a jungle where both the animals and his enemies still remember him.

Yates, who directed the final Harry Potter films, drops Edgar Rice Burroughs's hero into a 19th-century colonial setting, where pulpy adventure brushes up against the real history of the Belgian Congo.
