Twinsters

Twinsters (2015) is a documentary you can watch online on iFILM. Two women born in South Korea and adopted into different countries stumble across each other online and start to wonder if they were separated at birth.

Samantha Futerman grew up in the US; Anaïs Bordier in France. Same face, same birth year, one viral YouTube clip — and a message thread that pulls them toward a meeting and a DNA test. Sam co-directs with Ryan Miyamoto, so the camera sits inside the story rather than observing it: the shaky first video calls, the first real hug, the questions neither sister can quite ask out loud.
