The Lone Ranger

The Lone Ranger (2013) is Gore Verbinski's western you can watch online on iFILM. Lawyer John Reid rides out with a group of Texas Rangers and walks into an ambush in the desert. He is the only one who lives. A strange Comanche named Tonto digs him out and brings him back from the dead.

From there the masked lawman and Tonto set out after Butch Cavendish and his gang. Armie Hammer plays Reid as a man who still believes in courts and rules in a land run by the gun. Johnny Depp is Tonto, the one telling the whole story, mixing what happened with what he wishes had happened. Their road runs straight into a railroad being forced across Comanche land and the men who will do anything to lay the track. Among them are Tom Wilkinson's smooth railroad baron and William Fichtner's scarred outlaw.
