Alien Resurrection

Alien Resurrection (1997) is Jean-Pierre Jeunet's sci-fi horror you can watch online on iFILM. It is the fourth chapter of the saga, and it brings Ellen Ripley back two centuries after her death.

Military scientists clone Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) to recover the alien embryo buried inside her, dreaming of the ultimate weapon. The clone comes back wrong, though. Her blood carries the creature's DNA, and the creatures now carry something of her. When the brood breaks loose aboard the ship, Ripley has to fight her way out alongside a crew of smugglers. Among them is the mechanic Call, played by Winona Ryder, plus Ron Perlman, Dominique Pinon and Brad Dourif.

French director Jeunet, of Delicatessen and later Amélie, gives the film a darker, stranger streak than the first three entries. Joss Whedon wrote the screenplay. Stream Alien Resurrection (1997) online on iFILM.
