Synopsis
House of Gucci (2021) is Ridley Scott's crime drama, available to watch online on iFILM. Lady Gaga stars as Patrizia Reggiani, an outsider from a modest family who marries into Italy's most famous fashion dynasty — a union that sets a murder in motion.
Milan, late 1970s. Patrizia meets the shy Maurizio (Adam Driver), an heir who carries the name like a weight he never asked for. His father Rodolfo (Jeremy Irons) hates the match and cuts off the money. His uncle Aldo (Al Pacino), the other half of the empire, sees the new wife as fresh blood for the brand. Patrizia develops a taste for control, leans on the readings of a TV fortune teller, and slowly rearranges who holds power inside the family.
The screenplay draws on Sara Gay Forden's book about what really brought the Gucci clan down. The cast also packs in an unrecognizable Jared Leto as cousin Paolo and Salma Hayek.
