About

Synopsis

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) is a C. S. Lewis fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. A sea adventure that carries Edmund and Lucy Pevensie to the very edge of a magical world.

It opens with a painting. Edmund and Lucy, stuck living with their insufferable cousin Eustace (Will Poulter), stare at a picture of a sailing ship until the water spills off the canvas and pulls all three into Narnia. The crew of the Dawn Treader fishes them out, led by King Caspian (Ben Barnes). Their mission: find seven lost lords and reach the place where the known world ends. Each island throws something new at them, from slave traders to a green mist that feeds on fear and a dragon born from one boy's greed.

Michael Apted directed this third chapter, with Liam Neeson again voicing the lion Aslan. The story leans less on battles than on temptation, as every traveller meets a version of themselves they would rather not become.
