Synopsis
The Cook of Castamar (La cocinera de Castamar, 2021) is a Spanish period drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Madrid, 1720. Clara Belmonte, daughter of a respected physician, loses everything when her father dies and ends up out on the street.
Her cooking saves her. Clara lands in the kitchens of the grand Castamar estate, and a slow attraction grows between her and the widowed duke who owns it. In the way: the gulf between a servant and a nobleman, the scheming of a jealous court, and Clara's agoraphobia, which she hides from almost everyone. Adapted from Fernando J.
