Synopsis
Rise of the Guardians (2012) is a DreamWorks animated fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Peter Ramsey, it throws Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman and the Easter Bunny together with one reluctant outsider: Jack Frost.
Jack doesn't know where he came from or why he's here. Children walk straight through him because they can't see what they don't believe in. Then Pitch, the Boogeyman, rises to flood the world with nightmares and snuff out every child's faith in wonder. For the first time the Guardians band together, and Jack has to decide whose side he's on. The voice cast pulls in Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Isla Fisher and Jude Law.
The film grows out of William Joyce's book series about the mythic figures of childhood, recasting familiar holiday icons as a squad of warriors.
